INTERN BRIDGES THE GAP BETWEEN THEORY AND PRACTICE

At MMR, we believe in the power of internships, “as an important part of our commitment to helping develop the next generation of market research professionals.” said Sandra Holmes, Vice President of Client Services. “This year, since the internship will be virtual due to COVID, we are taking the opportunity to expand to other marketing research masters degree programs. We are excited to offer two excellent candidates a glimpse into what to expect on the supplier side of research.”

We are thrilled to have Catherine Landers join us as a MMR Summer Intern. “While getting to know Catherine, we quickly recognized her enthusiasm for learning, understanding of the marketing research process, and dedication to teamwork that we highly value at MMR”, said Andrea Murphy, Vice President of Client Services.

Catherine’s interest in marketing research grew while serving as a marketing intern for two Chick-fil-A restaurants and most recently as the Coordinator of Campus Visits in the Office of Admissions at Mississippi College. This past December, she graduated from Mississippi College with a BSBA in Marketing and will begin the Master of Marketing Research Program at the University of Georgia in June.

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to intern with MMR,” said Catherine, and “look forward to learning more about the tools and techniques of marketing research and finding actionable consumer insights.”

Welcome Catherine! We feel it’s a privilege to bring students into our culture to help bridge that gap between theory and practice.

Later this summer, we’ll look forward to welcoming our second summer intern from the MSMR Program at the University of Texas, Arlington.
