Two Join MMR in the New Year
The new year is off to an expansive start for MMR Research Associates with the addition of two new members to the team, Dawn Fass and Veronique Giasson. They join as the newest Client Services Directors, to be based in Texas and at HQ in Roswell, respectively. “We are very lucky to have both Dawn and Vero say, ‘yes’ to MMR,” remarked Bill Denk, managing partner. “Dawn’s extensive experience in the CPG space will be an asset as MMR continues to grow.” He added, “Vero brings drive and passion and a cultural sensitivity that we are excited to have on our team.” As Client Services Directors, both of the new additions to the team have responsibility for client communication and creating initial questionnaire and report drafts. Additionally, each has important project management roles, dovetailing with the client relationship leads to provide seamless integration throughout the lifespan of a research project.
Dawn was formerly Senior Director, Strategic Business Analysis for the Targetbase division of the M/A/R/C Group and has also held client-side positions at Sara Lee, Dallas Morning News, and Dr. Pepper/Snapple. She is experienced at conceptualizing, executing, and utilizing research to draw out a clear path of action grounded in market intelligence and consumer insight. A graduate of the University of Texas-Austin in Marketing/Finance, Dawn has been described as a curious, tenacious analytical leader capable of providing clear, informed and logical direction. Her expertise includes creating launch and engagement marketing strategies, expanding brand footprint and building brand experiences by understanding market trends and consumer needs.
Vero comes to MMR from Kids II, where she was Senior Manager, Global Insights. An insights-driven brand strategist, marketer, and sales professional, Vero’s experience is in identifying solutions to consumer problems, helping organizations create and grow relevant brands, products and services.
Before Kids II, she spent time at CareerBuilder, and before that, as a licensed Clinical Psychologist. Vero has a Ph. D in Clinical Psychology from the University of Montreal, and a BA in Psychology and Communications from University of Ottawa. Her atypical research background gives her a fresh perspective on capturing and analyzing consumer insights, and defining implications and opportunities for business.
